Dr. Long grew up in St. Petersburg, Fl. In 2006 she moved to Washington, DC to attend Howard University. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in Nutritional science she went on to attend Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta where she obtained her medical degree. Dr. Long completed her residency through the Emory University School of Medicine Internal Medicine primary care track where she received extra training in primary care.

Dr. Long began her primary care career working with the underserved at a federally qualified health center in Greenville, South Carolina. There, she served a medically complex patient population for almost 4 years. This is when the importance of providing patients with more than just medications became more and more clear.  Dr. Long pursued additional training and became board certified in Lifestyle medicine before relocating to Charlotte, North Carolina to be closer to family.  After working for a major health system in Charlotte for over 3 years, Dr. Long decided to branch out on her own and practice medicine on her terms. Her goal is to provide accessible, exceptional, personalized primary care.

In her free time, Dr. Long enjoys cooking, gardening, reading fiction, traveling, and spending time with her shih tzu, Gypsy.
